The Manual of Aeronautics: An Illustrated Guide to the Leviathan Series is an upcoming companion book to the Leviathan series. It will be illustrated by Keith Thompson and written by Scott Westerfeld. The book will include color images, showing the Leviathan's deck plans, cutaways of some of the machines in the series, pictures of some of the fabricated beasts on the airship, and costumes and portraits of the characters.

The book shares its name with the aeronautics manual that Deryn uses and learns from in the series.
